Make a wearable pure wool felt pocket, embroidered with pure British wool threads.
This is now a bespoke kit in that you have a choice of felt and thread colour. Please message to let me know your preference on the felt colour as listed below, and I will select the wool threads to match and tone:

Ever since seeing the photo of my great grandmother, Florence, wearing a pocket on the outside of her skirt, I have wanted to make a wearable pocket. Especially as on some days, I select clothes depending on whether they have pockets or not, I am lost without pockets! The photo of Florence wearing the pocket is shown on this page, and you may have seen the embroidered stitched piece in my studio.
Sometimes in workshops, I keep a small shoulder bag on me at all times to be able to quickly locate my phone and sewing materials, but it is cumbersome. So, by wearing a pocket it means it can be more conveniently tied around my waist, balancing weight and making things more accessible.
The felt panel is 100% wool, and a beautiful weight so that it is serviceable but still soft. The pure wool British threads are joy to stitch onto the wool felt.
Cotton webbing is included, in a sufficient quantity for passing around my waist twice and securing. I am a waist size 12.
This kit is suitable for beginners, as it possible to complete the project with just a few simple stitches. For advanced stitchers, it is an opportunity to showcase your stitching skills.
The finished pocket measures approx 30cm x 20cm, and fits my iphone in perfectly.

I'm new to embroidery - this is the second kit I've sewn from Victoria, having attended a course at Colne Valley museum.
It's just lovely! The wool smells gorgeous and the colours work so well.
My stitching improved as I went along, so I've embraced some wonkiness! It was a joy to sew. Everyone needs a pocket!
Really love this kit as I was able to choose the colour of the felt, and Victoria then matched the wool thread accordingly. This is bespoke as I get to choose the colour to embroider the design. I have already started and embroidering on this superb felt is a treat. Thanks Victoria another fab kit!
