The Florence Pocket - A new kit to make a wearable felt pocket.
Ever since seeing the photo of my great grandmother, Florence, wearing a pocket on the outside of her skirt, I have wanted to make a wearable pocket. Especially as on some days, I select clothes depending on whether they have pockets or not, I am lost without pockets! The Ancient Craft of Wet Felting
If you would like to learn the ancient craft of wet felting, there are three dates for workshops in the next few weeks: Thursday 26th March at my studio. Saturday 28th March at Sunny Bank Mills. Contemporary Crewel Embroidery
After many years of teaching this workshop, I have decided to change the name of the Wool Embroidery workshop to Contemporary Crewel Embroidery. Although the technique used in many of my designs is crewel, I embroider with pure wool threads that would usually be employed for crochet or knitting.
