Guest Tutors at the studio in 2027!

Just released, not one but two guest tutors for 2027!
Both guest tutors are accomplished authors and artists, having released many books through Batsford Books, and other art publishers.
Cas Holmes - Precious Objects - Stitch, Cloth, & Paper
I am so excited to welcome Cas to the studio in April. Cas' work can be attributed to propelling me into textile art. I love the personal connection and meaning that is imbued into her beautifully textured work.

Anne Kelly - Folk Doll, & Folk Banner
As if that isn't exciting enough, I am so thrilled to welcome Anne back for her second visit to the studio in May, These are two standalone days, and you could do both as they are different themes. There is a folk doll day, and a folk banner day. Anne's banners were recently displayed in a beautiful setting at the Mississippi Valley Textile Museum in Ontario, have a look at them in situ on Anne's Instagram page. I am so looking forward to this!

Advent Calendar - The Twelve Days of Christmas - Three interest free payments - Pre order by the 5th of November!
There are only two days remaining to order your advent calendar. Thank you to everyone that has ordered so far. I have been deep in planning and have designed many new patterns to include in the calendar. There is over £400 of value in the calendar, and it will have a lot of goodies and new designs, I am actually quite excited about it!
Also, if you would like to spread the cost into three interest free payments, make sure to select the Paypal easy pay option. You don't have to pay through Paypal for this, you can pay with any card.
Lindsey & Gretel made it home!
The last few weeks have been a lovely blur, and Lindsey Dickson has now made it back home. With Storm Boelo raging in the North West, it meant that Lindsey had to abandon Gretel for the Manchester leg of the journey, and stayed at my 'little house' instead, which was very lovely! It seems very quiet now.
Workshops for Autumn/Winter
Other workshops at the studio have had a bit of a revamp. There will be less workshops with me in the coming season, but they will be more focused. Each month will have a theme, for example December is Christmas themed, January is mainly print and stitch with a little wet felting, February will be working with your fabric photographs, and March is back to the basics of wool embroidery. Following that, we are into guest tutor season!
Group Bookings
However, please remember I do travel to group bookings, drop me a line to find out more. The group workshops start at £20 per person, and will vary according to content and group numbers.
Suzette Smart - Bird & Tree Ornament Workshop, Sunday 6th December
There are just a few places remaining on Suzette's workshop on the 6th December, Suzette will be with us the whole weekend, but the day before is waitlist only. I would get in quickly if you would like to join us.
Sunny Bank Mills
I will be at Sunny Bank Mills on Saturday with a Sashiko workshop, there are just a few spaces left if you would like to join us. On the following Sunday the 15th I will be there again with a Fabric Doll Making workshop. The workshop includes the doll pattern and all the accessories, everything needed to make the doll is included. Book either of these at the Sunny Bank Mills website.
