Service Description
I am delighted to welcome Anne Kelly back to the studio for a weekend of two standalone workshops, in this workshop on Saturday 29th May, we will be making a hand stitched folk doll with Anne. In this one day class with artist, author, and tutor Anne Kelly you will design and make a small folk doll, which you can continue to embellish and decorate after the workshop. Inspired by all manner of old dolls, try to choose a simple ‘look’ for you doll. You will be provided with a pattern (included in the price of the course) and make the body and main features of the doll. You will start to dress and make items for the embellishment of the doll too. Please bring: An A3 piece of calico or plain cotton (for the body) Smaller pieces of coloured fabric for clothing Some wool or wool tops for hair Wadding or stuffing for toys Scissors A hand stitching kit A mixture of hand threads A frixion pen, if you have one Pins If you don't have all of these, there will be some of these items for use in the studio. Tea, coffee and biscuits are provided, and you are welcome to bring a packed lunch to the studio. Please note that the studio is on the third floor of the mill, with stair access only. The toilets are on the same floor as the studio.

Cancellation Policy
Cancellation is possible up to 28 days of the workshop for a full refund. Cancellations of less than 28 days notice will not be refunded, but you will be offered to transfer to a similar course on a different date. If it is possible to resell the workshop, then a refund can be made. Please do not come to the studio if you are unwell, or have cold or flu symptoms. In the case of illness, please contact me and a future date will be offered for the same or similar scheduled workshop, at a time that is convenient to you.
