This kit contains a fabric panel ready printed with my blackbird drawing outline. The kit has eight full skeins of beautiful Luca-S Moulinecotton threads, and there will be plenty left over for further projects when you have completed this one. 
 
This kit is the simplest of all of my kits as it involves just one very simple stitch, straight stitch.  If you can thread a needle, pass it from the back of the fabric to the front and back down again, then you can do this!  This design is more about colour placement than stitch styles, which is explained in the accompanying booklet.  The stitches are also demonstrated in the Video section at the website, making this perfect for beginners and a lovely gift.
 
The design is printed on a 24cm x 24cm panel of organic half panama cotton, which is a sturdy fabric and is very easy to stitch on.  The design will fit comfortably into a 5" hoop to be displayed, or the completed embroidery could be framed or appliqued onto an item of clothing or accessory.  There are lots of uses for the finished embroidery. The design could also be extended beyond the print to fit a 6" hoop, as there is plenty of room around the print for extra stitching.
