I am so thrilled to be reporting this news! I now have my very own space and it will be opening in August! It is a lovely studio in a big old cotton mill in Mossley OL5 9FQ, which is near to Saddleworth.
Just as soon as I return from The Festival of Quilts, I will be donning my painting gear and decorating the space, before filling it with embroidery art and textile goodies.
There will be a light and bright workshop space, as well as a cosy book corner where there will be my extensive collection of art and textile books, and it will be so nice to have everything in one place. It will also be an art gallery for my embroidered and painted work, so there will be plenty to see!
There will be a full programme of workshops, and at the moment I am slowly introducing the workshops dates in the 'Workshop' section at the website, so please keep your eyes peeled. I will still be growing my workshops at other venues, so if you can't get to the mill, then I might be coming to a venue near you.
That's all for now folks, I have to scoot off and continue with my prep for The Festival of Quilts which starts on the 3rd of August. I will be on Stand G44, so please come along and say hello! It's the 20th Anniversary of FOQ, and it looks like an extra special one.
There will be a range of my brand new embroidery kits, all which I have been busily finishing off, it is a little last minute and the designs will be very hot off the press!
