After all this time, it would be lovely to actually meet you!

After many years of hiding myself away, I will be teaching a wool embroidery workshop at Hanging by a Thread Creative Studios in Warrington, on Saturday 24th September, and there are still a few places left if you would like to learn a new skill or advance your practice. I will be introducing you to my own style of wool embroidery, and it's suitable for absolute beginners and more advanced stitchers too. There will be a variety of my designs to choose from, and I will be showing all of the stitch styles to get you started, and you will be able to take the materials away to finish at home. Booking is online at the link below. The Old School is easy to get to, and is close to Central Station in Warrington town centre. R'Teapot cafe will be open too, so you will be able to sample their delicious food, or you can bring your own lunch, and I will be supplying the biscuits.

If you haven't already been to The Old School, it is well worth a visit as there are several very talented artists there, and this coming Saturday is the opening day of the Heather Fox Jewellery Making Studio. I will be there in the textile studio with some of my kits, and will be doing some embroidery demonstrations, and there will be a chance for you to have a go too! Maria Livesey will be holding some silk screen printing sessions, and perhaps some machine embroidery demonstrations, so there will be plenty to see. Please come along and say hello, it would be lovely to actually meet you.

Also, there have been several new embroidery kit releases lately, including my most favourite designs to date, Vintage Sunflower and Autumn Sunflower, featuring the very lovely hand dyed Manos del Uruguay wools, as pictured below. Vintage Sunflower is also available as a downloadable pattern with full instructions and a stitch guide. They are both the same pattern but in different colour palettes, and each looking very different to the other.

The price has remained the same as the other wool embroidery kits, even though these newbies contain more wool as there is more to embroider in these. If you are on the look out for a new project, then this could be it. All of my wool embroidery kits can be made into cushions, wall hangings, or bags, and instructions for these are included. Also, there is still free delivery in the UK on all embroidery kits.

I'm working on releasing the new Lily embroidery kit, as well as a release on a third colour palette for both the Florence and Sunflower ranges, it's all go round here!

If you need any help or advice with any of your projects, it doesn't have to be mine, then just drop me a line and I'll be happy to help.

Love from Victoria xx

P.S. The sale on all DMC embroidery kits is still ongoing if you prefer threads!
