Service Description

Add a unique touch to your cherished memories with this creative workshop. Working from your photograph, which you will email or send to me at least two weeks before the workshop, I will then print it onto beautifully soft cotton linen fabric so that you can learn how to embroider and embellish it to great effect with simple stitches. Together we can look at the photo, and I will help you to decide which areas to stitch, and the stitches to use that will show off your photo, helping to preserve the memories for generations to come. The photo can be of anything; Your home, your pets, your family, a special place, it can be absolutely anything. It can be any colour or black and white. Before your image is printed onto the fabric, I will send a proof for you to check that you are happy with the crop, that is if it needs to be cropped, and that you are happy with the light, appearance, etc. It is sometimes necessary to make adjustments to the photo for printing purposes. The printing process takes up to two weeks as I send them to be professionally printed, therefore it is important that I receive the image at least two weeks before the workshop. It is worth the wait as the print quality is beautiful, and the fabric is soft and easy to sew onto. I have tried this process with other methods such as printer transfer paper, but it is too harsh on the fingers, so I have opted for the best experience in terms of embroidery, and it is well worth the wait. In the workshop we will also discuss the options for framing, or for alternative uses for the artwork. It could be made into a cushion, or other household objects, or accessories such as bags. This would be a lovely workshop for private parties, if you would like a private group booking then please message me for details at hello@littlehouseofvictoria.com Due to the bespoke nature of this workshop, once the printing has been ordered, it isn't possible to cancel or refund, but in the event of cancellation you will receive the printed fabric. If cancelled before the printing is ordered, then an immediate refund will be issued.

Cancellation Policy

For cancellations, refunds will be issued if cancelled within 14 days of the course date. Refunds cannot be issued if it is after the 14 day period.
