Embroider a Pure Linen Drawstring Bag.

Service Description

Join me in my studio at Woodend Mill One, Mossley, near Saddleworth, where we will be making a drawstring bag from pure linen and wool threads. Choose from any of my drawstring bag embroidery kits. A full kit is provided, and I will demonstrate the stitches and provide guidance on making the bag, which is all done with hand stitches. Learn crewel embroidery techniques the easy way. All materials are included plus materials to take home with you. I have selected all of the materials for ease of use. Included in the kits: - Large 50 x 50cm pure linen fabric panel. You can choose your favourite. - Pure wool threads ready cut and stored on a thread keeper ring, or there are cotton skeins kits too. - Carbon tracing paper - John James Embroidery Needle - A4 full colour printed instruction booklet. There will be plenty of time to practice the stitches, and you will leave with confidence. These kits could make a cushion if preferred. You will be guided through the stages: - Tracing your design onto fabric, the easy way. - Placing your fabric into the hoop. - Threading the wool through the needle, with a very simple method. - Basic stitch styles, which are easy to master. - Following the course, you will have extra support as I will be available by email if you need any further advice, and there are stitch tutorial videos at my website. Please note that my studio is located on the third floor and there is no lift in the building. The stairs are old mill stairs. I am a qualified teacher in Art & Creative Practice, and I have demonstrated on many shows at the sewing TV channel 'Sewing Street' with my branded embroidery kits from 'Little House of Victoria',

Cancellation Policy

For cancellations, refunds will be issued if cancelled within 14 days of the course date. Refunds cannot be issued if it is after the 14 day period.
