This kit comes with a large 47cm x 47cm pure linen fabric panel and a set of seven skeins of Appletons crewel wool in a typically Bayeux Tapestry colour palette. The wool threads are by Appletons and are 100% pure English wool, made in the UK, and absolutely beautiful to work with.
The embroidered panel can have many uses, a drawstring bag or cushion front amongst many. If making a cushion, you will need a panel of fabric for the back of the cushion.
Suitable for beginners and advanced stitchers alike, there is a printed guide that includes a stitch guide.
The images also show the original Lovey Dove design as stitched in pure British wool at the time.
This embroidery kit is worked in just a few simple stitches, learn one stitch at a time and it will soon be finished!
