Hello, I thought you might like a half price workshop discount code.
The code is for this Saturday's Creative Wool Embroidery Workshop, and this workshop is where you get to choose from my newest embroidery kits containing the extra large cotton & bamboo fabric panels. These kits make a cushion or a bag, and you can choose the format. They also contain pure wool threads, a super quality John James embroidery needle, and everything needed to complete your project. Of course I will guide you through each step, and demonstrate the stitches. There are kits to make unique Christmas gifts too!
The link to the workshop is below, apply the code HALFPRICEWORKSHOP to get the workshop for half the usual price for just £19, and this includes the full embroidery kit that retails at £38, so it is a bargain way to treat yourself and enhance your existing skills, or learn completely from scratch. The workshop is at my studio in Woodend Mill One, in Mossley, which is near to Oldham and Saddleworth.
Thank you so much!
Before I go any further, I must say a massive thank you to the participants of Saturday and Sunday's workshop. I am blown away by the lovely groups at my studio and at Rheged Centre, and by the work that was produced. Also, some of the people had 'only dabbled' previously and 'hadn't done it since school a few years ago', so to see the results of the work they produced was actually quite staggering!
I think a huge part of it being so achievable is the use of knitting wool threads, it really is an easy introduction to crewel embroidery, and it isn't until you try it that this instantly becomes evident. There is a quick and easy method to threading the wool through the needle, and I demonstrate this in class, and it usually attracts oohs and ahhhs.
There are other workshops now booking, and the link to book is below. The discount code is only valid for this Saturday's workshop.
A fab day out!
I am back at the Rheged Centre in Penrith on Sunday the 15th October with a Wet Felted Landscape workshop, and this is bookable through the Rheged website. In the workshop we will take wool roving tufts, combine them with soap, and agitate them to make a felted panel. It is very easy, and you will be making yours alongside me.
If you haven't been to Rheged before, it is well worth a visit, and there is an exhibition now on by the very talented and inspirational artist, Libby Edmondson. The colours in the exhibition are truly uplifting, and a feast for the eyes. There is also a lovely deli and cinema there, and it is set in lovely countryside just off the M6. The link to book your place on the workshop is also below.
20% off all Embroidery Kits
That's all for now, apart from a 20% discount code off all kits at the website, and that is DISCOUNT20, this will be valid until the end of the week.
Free Downloadable Resources
Also, just to let the new subscribers know that there are free downloadable resources at the website, and the link to that section is below.
Love from Victoria x
P.S. If there is a workshop that you would like to do that isn't listed, then please let me know.
