The artwork shown above is one that I stitched working from a black and white photo measuring just 9 x 9 cm that my Dad took of me on Blackpool beach on his old Kodak Brownie camera, As you can imagine around 50 years later the photo was a little faded around the edges. The finished product in high quality DMC threads on organic cotton linen measures 52 x 49 cm. The size of your embroidery will be around this size but will vary in relation to your photo. This one can be seen in detail on my shop and gallery photos.
Working from your own photos, first they will be enlarged and printed onto fabric before being given the personalised treatment with detailed embroidery.
This is a great way to preserve precious photos and memories or for special anniverseries, weddings or birthdays.
A custom made optional clear acrylic frame is available at £95, this makes an ideal gift ready to just wrap and go!
