New! Art Deco Alphabet Embroidery Kit! Including numbers, symbols, and words!

I just had to tell you about this latest release, I am so happy with it!

I love the Art Deco era, it was so beautiful and glamorous.  I have taken flavours of the Art Deco aesthetic and applied it this alphabet design on pure black linen.  This stylish kit makes a self lined drawstring bag, or a cushion front cover. It is just perfect for personalised gifting, or as a gift for yourself.

The alphabet contains:

  • Upper case

  • Lower case

  • Numbers

  • Symbols; A star, and a heart, and the words 'Love' and 'Home'

The threads contained within this kit are scrumptiously soft, and glide through the pure linen panel beautifully. The bag measures approximately 22 x 24 cm when finished and is lined with the same fabric throughout, making it feel very luxurious.

Containing all the materials you will need to make this bag, apart from scissors to cut the thread and fabric.  You will receive a 50cm x 50cm pure linen panel in one square, so if preferred you could make a cushion or a large bag with the panel.

The kit is suitable for beginners and advanced stitchers alike, as the stitches are easy to master, and there are videos at the website for the stitches.

Included in the kit:

  • Pure linen fabric panel, 50 x 50 cm.

  • Pure 100% cotton, 6 full skeins in vintage colours from the Victoria's Favourites range.

  • Two John James Chenille embroidery needle, a chenille and a darner.

  • Cotton webbing drawstring, over 1m in length.

  • Full colour printed instruction booklet with a stitch guide, 15 page.

  • Printed to size  embroidery pattern template featuring all of the alphabet, upper and lower case, and numbers and symbols.

  • White carbon tracing paper for tracing your design

  • Video stitch tutorials at my website.

  • Free delivery in the UK.

Stitches used in this design

There are videos at my website, and free downloadable Stitch Lessons for these stitches:

  • Split Stitch.

  • Satin Stitch.

  • French Knots.

If you are creating a cushion then all you will need is the stuffing and a back cover, and a pair of scissors to cut the thread.  Instructions are provided as to how I make hand sewn cushions from these panels.
