Hello to you, I hope you are well and enjoying the Christmas break.
I do hope that my friends in Stalybridge and Mossley are all ok after last night's tornado. If you are affected and I can help at all, then please let me know. Although the weather can be more unpredictable higher up in the hills around Manchester, this isn't something that we are accustomed to, and it must have been very scary. I hope everyone is safe and ok.
Studio & Shop reopening on Saturday 6th January
I will back at the studio on Saturday the 6th January, and the studio and shop will be open to call in from 10.30 a.m. to 2.00 p.m. If you are wanting to have a catch up and a natter, then pop in for a cuppa, it will be lovely to see you. I will be teaching a Wool Embroidery workshop and my trusty assistant (my Dad) will be on kettle duty.
There are still some places on the Wool Embroidery workshop, and there is a half price code for this making it just £17.50, which considering you will have a choice of my wool embroidery kits this is quite a January bargain! My thinking is that you might like to escape and do something crafty by then, and both fires will be on making the studio toasty warm. The half price code for this workshop is HALFPRICEJAN. New Embroidery Kit - Auricula
I am developing a range of kits based around my Auricula design, and the first one has now been released. It's the red Auricula on a black pure linen background with pure wool threads. The style is reminiscent of Folk Art, but keep an eye out for this design in other colour palettes coming soon. It looks very different when stitched in other colours. Free Resources
It's lovely to see so many of you downloading the free resources, free embroidery patterns, and free Stitch Lessons. I will keep adding to this section of the website.
Unfortunately my personal and business Facebook accounts disappeared yesterday, and there is little chance of them coming back. Therefore, I now only have Instagram. I've been a little down about this as I have lost 15 years of personal photographs, most of which are of my family. If you usually only contact me by Facebook, then please get in touch in other ways so that we can stay in touch. You can always hit reply to these emails, and they will reach me.
