Wool Embroidery

Service Description

Stitching with wool is very easy and therapeutic to do. I find that it is the easiest thread to stitch with. and it feels beautiful to handle. All materials are included in this workshop, and there will be a choice of embroidery designs. The kits typically retail at between £40 and £45, and are included within this workshop. The workshop is suitable for beginners, as the stitches can be as simple or as sophisticated as you like, and I will be on hand to teach new stitching methods. It is unlikely that you will finish the project in class, but you will have the full kit and the guide to continue at home. All tuition will be given in class, and the guide contains a stitch guide. Kit included in the workshop: - Pure linen panel - Pure wool threads in a choice of colours. - John James embroidery needle. - Printed pattern and guide. This is a very creatively freeing process, and there are no rules as the focus is on enjoyment over perfect results. If you have any materials, threads or embellishments that you would particularly like to use, this is very much encouraged.
