Vintage Tray Cover Embroidery with Photo

Service Description

Stitch your own memories onto an embroidered vintage tea tray cover. Make a special keepsake, memoire, or gift. I thought it was about time that vintage tea tray covers had a special project, I see them so often in vintage shops, it is so nice to find a use where they will be celebrated and preserved. Choose from my recent purchases of vintage tray covers. Email your image to me and I will print it ready for the workshop. Everything is included, even the vintage fabrics to appliqué and embellish with, as well as all the trims, ribbons, and threads. Together we will plan your project and discuss the layout, and stitches, etc. I will also help with choosing colour palettes and themes, if you would like. All materials will be included, but you are encouraged to bring materials along, such as treasured fabrics, trims and ephemera, and any personal items which are relevant to the project theme. The photos can be of any subject, and can be in colour or black and white. I will crop your photo if requested, and can change to black & white or sepia tones. Included in the workshop price: - One printed photo - A vintage tea tray cover of your choosing. - Cotton threads, and wool threads. - Embroidery Needles - Buttons and beads Felt backing panels will be available at £5 each, if you would like to back your project. Additionally, the antique bobbins are available at £10 each. IMPORTANT: Scan photos at the highest resolution possible and save as a jpeg before emailing to me. Most scanners and printers have an option to scan at a higher resolution. Please ask me if you are not sure. If sending the photos from a phone, save and send them at the highest resolution and the largest size possible. If the file is large, use a free transfer service like We Transfer. If you have booked for someone else, please supply their email address and full name. This is important so I can communicate directly about their photos.
