Stitched Concertina Fabric Photo Book

Service Description

Stitch your own memories into a cherished concertina fabric book. Make a special keepsake, memoire, or gift. This is a full 2 two day workshop on two different weekends, this is the second day, it is possible to join at this stage, and I will update you before arrival. There is a maximum of 17 small pages to the book, each page measuring approximately 10cm x 12cm. It is possible to send photos to me for printing, and there will be 6 small photos included in your kit. Together we will plan your book and discuss the layout. I will also cover choosing colour palettes and themes. All materials will be included, but you are encouraged to bring materials along, such as treasured fabrics, trims and ephemera, and any personal items which are relevant to the project theme. The photos can be of any subject, and can be in colour or black and white. I will crop your photo if requested, and can change to black & white or sepia tones. Included in the workshop price: - Six small printed photos, around A4 size in total. - A long panel of base fabric. - Cotton threads and silk threads. - Embroidery Needles - Buttons and beads IMPORTANT: Scan photos at the highest resolution possible and save as a jpeg before emailing to me. Most scanners and printers have an option to scan at a higher resolution. Please ask me if you are not sure. If you are sending the photos from your phone, save and send them at the highest resolution and the largest size possible. If the file is large, use a free transfer service like We Transfer. If you have booked for someone else, please supply their email address and full name. This is important so I can communicate directly about their photos.
