Embroidery - Relax, Learn, & Relearn

Service Description

This is a perfect way to learn new skills, or to relearn old skills. So many people say that they haven't embroidered since school or childhood, this workshop is a relaxing way to either learn for the first time, or to relearn, develop rusty skills, or to improve your hand embroidery. In this session we will take the time to relax and practice the craft of hand embroidery. Full tuition will be given, the stitches will be started in a gentle way so that your confidence can build. This class has been put together as a result of other classes taught at Eden, and the request for a hand embroidery lesson that focuses solely on the craft of stitch. Of course you will have the full support of me guiding you along the way. This means that you will leave feeling confident, having practiced several stitches. Kit Contents: The materials included for you to embroider in the session, and to take away with you: - Pure linen fabric panel, or printed fabric panel. - Stranded cotton, perle, and silk embroidery threads. - Beads and embellishments, if these are applicable to your work. - John James embroidery needles. All other materials that you will need will be for use within the studio, and you will have your class kit to take home to finish the project. This workshop is in the inspirational venue of Eden Galleries, where we will be working within the pottery studio.
