Embroidered Snippet Roll with Applique

Service Description

Make a keepsake pocket roll, for yourself or for a loved one. I made one for myself as a reminder to slow down, and to provide encouragement on challenging days. These little pocket rolls make beautiful keepsake gifts, and they can be made to mark occasions like weddings, births, special birthdays, and treasured memories. They can convey words of encouragement and love, there are lots of avenues to explore with these pocket rolls. This workshop is suitable for beginners as you will work with me through each step, and as much creative guidance as needed will be given. It is possible to make your own version, or to follow my sample. The workshop is equally suitable for advanced stitchers as it is possible to be as creative as you like as there will be a variety of stitches that can be included, including some to stretch your embroidery skills. There are no rules, and the focus is on enjoyment over perfect results. The materials included in the workshop are: - Linen fabric. - Dolly peg. - Perle Cotton - Stranded cotton and pure wool threads. - John James embroidery needles. - Lace, ribbons, and buttons. - Vintage fabrics and trims for applique. If you have any materials, threads or embellishments that you would particularly like to use, this is very much encouraged. The project can be finished at home if it isn't finished in class, and you will have your kit and sufficient guidance to do this.
