Working with your photo printed onto fabric. Hand embroider a mini quilt with hand embroidery and applique, that includes your own photo. The booking deadline for booking onto the workshop and for providing a photo to be printed is the 31st of March. Please let me know if you need help with sending a photo. This workshop is suitable for beginners and advanced alike. All materials and tuition are included in the workshop. I will print your photo onto cotton fabric. It can be colour or black and white and will be printed at approximately 8cm to 13cm, and it can be square or oblong. Alternatively, you can bring your own photo printed onto fabric if preferred. This is a mini version of the Stitched Photographs workshop that I run, the photo will be printed on a smaller scale, with appliqued fabric and trims to embellish. The finished embroideries are a perfect size to fit into a photo frame, and make beautiful gifts and keepsakes. Please note: If you are booking for a friend, please let me know their name and email address, so I can request an image from them. Materials included in the workshop, and some to take away to finish your project at home: - Fabric panel for the base, and patterned fabric swatches to decorate. - Lace, buttons, and trims. - Embroidery Needles. - Perle and stranded cottons. - Your photo printed onto cotton fabric. - Blanket or fabric backing for the quilted element. - All tools needed for the project will be included in the studio, but if you have favourite tools, then please bring them. - If you have favourite or sentimental fabrics/lace, please feel free to being those along too. This workshop is equally suitable for advanced stitchers as it is possible to be as creative as you like as there will be a variety of stitches that can be included, including some to stretch your embroidery skills. This is a very creatively freeing process, and there are no rules as the focus is on enjoyment over perfect results. Please note the studio is on the third floor, with stair access only.

Cancellation Policy
Cancellations can be made up to 28 days before the course for a full refund. Cancellations made after this will not be refunded, but an alternative workshop will be offered. Please do not come to the studio if you are unwell, or have cold or flu symptoms. In the case of illness, please contact me and a future date will be offered for the same or similar scheduled workshop, at a time that is convenient to you.
