Service Description

This is a very relaxing mixed media workshop for which you will receive a beautiful kit to take home with you and to work on in the class. There will be a choice of printed panels, that have been ready printed with my designs. There will also be a choice of 80 colours of markers to apply to the panels, as well as a choice of threads. There is no need for previous experience, it is a simple but effective process. We will first colour in the printed panel with the markers before applying embroidery, it's a very therapeutic process. The workshop is suitable for beginners and advanced, and you can follow my examples, or go completely off piste with your own creation, this is very much encouraged. There will be a choice of printed designs, all measuring 24 x 24 cm, printed on organic cotton. We will also discuss uses for your panels, and how to take them into a project following this workshop. The embroidered panels can be framed as art, or displayed as a wall hanging, or applied to a number of clothing or accessories. Kit Contents: The materials included for you to embroider in the session, and to take away with you: - Printed panel, 24cm x 24cm. - A choice of threads to suit your work, pure silk, stranded cotton, perle, and wool embroidery threads - John James embroidery needle.
