Service Description

Join me in my studio at Woodend Mill One, Mossley, near Saddleworth, where you will have the choice of any of my wool embroidery kits. This workshop includes a full kit. The stitches will be demonstrated, and you will leave equipped with the knowledge of how to complete the design and turn it into a cushion, bag, or framed artwork. Learn crewel embroidery techniques the easy way by stitching with 4 ply wool. All materials are included plus materials to take home with you. I have selected all of the materials for ease of use. Included in the kits: - Large 49 x 49 cm pure linen fabric panel. You can choose your favourite, panel sizes may vary but are around 49cm x 49cm. - Pure wool threads ready cut and stored on a thread keeper ring. - Carbon tracing paper - John James Embroidery Needle - A4 full colour printed instruction booklet. There will be plenty of time to practice the stitches, and you will leave with confidence. You will be guided through the stages: - Tracing your design onto fabric, the easy way. - Placing your fabric into the hoop. - Threading the wool through the needle, with a very simple method. - Basic stitch styles, which are easy to master. - Following the course, you will have extra support as I will be available by email if you need any further advice, and there are stitch tutorial videos at my website. Please note that my studio is located on the third floor and there is no lift in the building. The stairs are old mill stairs. I am a qualified teacher in Art & Creative Practice, and I have demonstrated on many shows at the sewing TV channel 'Sewing Street' with my branded embroidery kits from 'Little House of Victoria',

Cancellation Policy

For cancellations, refunds will be issued if cancelled within 14 days of the course date. Refunds cannot be issued if it is after the 14 day period.
