Add a unique touch to your cherished memories with this creative workshop that includes the Photo Roll Embroidery Kit. Please email your photos to me by the 1st March, there is a lead time for the printing process, as they are professionally printed for the best results. This workshop includes cotton linen printed with your photographs to a maximum overall size of 52x50cm. An ideal configuration is to have 4 images printed at approximately 24cm, but any size and shape of photo will work. You may not get the opportunity to work on all of your photos in the session, but we will discuss how to approach them, and you will work on at least one with embroidery. You will have the opportunity to bring your project back to the studio for more guidance in the Bring Your Own Project sessions which run on a regular basis at just £5.00. You can of course finish your project at home if you wish, as we do cover how to complete and mount your project. I will guide you through the process and give advice on stitch styles and placement of stitches. In this session you can add flowers and motifs as decoration and embellishment, but will not be stitching faces, as this would require more time. The photo can be of any subject, and can be in colour or black and white. Photo Roll Kit Contents: Printed photographs on cotton linen, 52 x 50cm Linen fabric for backing the project, 1m x half metre. Vintage industrial wooden bobbin. Cotton thread set Watercolour set + brush Embroidery Needles IMPORTANT: Scan photos at the highest resolution possible and save as a jpeg before emailing to me. If you are sending the photos from your phone, save and send them at the highest resolution and largest size possible. If preferred, you can drop into the studio with the photo for technical advice. Due to the bespoke nature of this workshop, once the printing has been ordered, it isn't possible to cancel or refund, but in the event of cancellation you will receive the printed fabric. Please note that my studio is on the third floor of an old mill, and there is no lift.
