Service Description

Add a unique touch to your cherished memories with this workshop This is a follow up session to enable progression of your project started in the first session, and work on the kit provided. If this is your first session, the kit costs an extra £35 payable on the day. Email for details, workshops repeated at regular intervals. In the first session you will receive your kit and work on one image. In following workshops at a reduced price of £20 per session, you will have access to threads, beads, embellishments, fabric for applique, and tuition for your remaining fabric panels and assembly of the backing panel. Subsequent classes can be booked in any order, when you feel ready. Working from your photographs printed onto beautifully soft cotton linen fabric, which you will embroider with simple stitches. I will guide you through the process, and as much tuition as required will be provided on stitch styles and placement of stitches. We will be adding flowers and motifs as decoration and embellishment, but will not be stitching faces, as this would require more time. Included in the kit is 52x50cm of your printed photos on linen, the size and type of which can be tailored to your design, I can advise on that if needed. The photo can be of any subject, and can be in colour or black and white. The kit is provided in the first session. If this is your first session, there is a lead time for the printing process, as they are professionally printed for the best results. Therefore it is important that I receive the images 3 weeks before the workshop date. Photo Roll Kit Contents: Printed photographs on cotton linen, 52 x 50cm Linen fabric, 1m x half metre. Vintage industrial wooden bobbin. Cotton thread set Watercolour set + brush Embroidery Needles IMPORTANT: Scan photos at the highest resolution possible and save as a jpeg before emailing to me. If you are sending the photos from your phone, then please save and send them at the highest resolution and largest size possible. If preferred, you can drop your image at my studio for me to scan. Due to the bespoke nature of this workshop, once the printing has been ordered, it isn't possible to cancel or refund, but in the event of cancellation you will receive the printed fabric. Please note that my studio is on the third floor of an old mill, and there is no lift.

Cancellation Policy

When printing is ordered it is then none refundable, but you will receive the printed fabric. The workshop can be refunded with two weeks notice, with the cost of printing deducted.
