Service Description
If you'd like to start a personal project, but are not sure where to start, or need a plan, this session is for you. Or, if you'd like to know the processes used to build my autobiographical stories, this workshop will provide an insight as to how I work, and the journey that I have taken. I will demonstrate how to build a personal narrative through the use of photos, ephemera, mixed media, and appliqué to build on a story. The projects can also include painting and printing. You will leave with a plan, and your project can be on fabric or paper. Hopefully you will be inspired by seeing my stitched stories, and will be eager to start your own journey. This workshop is taking place at the same time as Small Beginnings, Great Expectations and The Lost Jackets exhibition, and we will be working by the side of the beautiful and very poignant stitched artworks, and this will also provide much inspiration, If you would like this workshops as a private group booking, please message me for details. Please note that my studio is on the third floor of the mill, and has stair access only.

Cancellation Policy
Cancellation is possible up to 28 days of the workshop for a full refund. Cancellations of less than 28 days notice will not be refunded, but you will be offered to transfer to a similar course on a different date. If it is possible to resell the workshop, then a refund can be made. Please do not come to the studio if you are unwell, or have cold or flu symptoms. In the case of illness, please contact me and a future date will be offered for the same or similar scheduled workshop, at a time that is convenient to you.
