Nature is the most forgiving subject to paint, and painting natural subjects is an ideal way to learn. This is a workshop for people that think they cannot paint, but want to learn. With this workshop, you get to choose a super quality paint set to take home. Choose from beautiful Winsor & Newton pocket sketchbook paint sets, or Galeria acrylic paint sets, and a credit of £20 is included in the price of this workshop to spend in the new art supplies section of my shop. Additional paints and tools will be available to use in the workshop, and you will have your paint set to take home for future projects. There is no need for previous experience, I will show you the very simple steps to painting, and if you are not looking forward to the drawing aspect of the workshop, there will be some templates to copy or trace. If you have a source of inspiration, please bring a photo with you, otherwise there will be plenty of inspiration available in the studio. You can either follow my examples, or go with your own sources of inspiration. The workshop is suitable for beginners and advanced, and you can follow my examples, or go completely off piste with your own creation, this is very much encouraged. You will have the opportunity to transpose your painting to fabric, providing the opportunity to stitch onto it. If you prefer to just use the watercolour paper, this is also fine. as the emphasis in this session is on learning to paint. Kit Contents: The materials included in the session, and to take away with you: - Winsor & Newton paint set of your choosing, using the £20 credit in the shop. - Your finished painting (bring a bag to transport it home). - All the tools needed and extra paints, pens, pencils, will be for use in the studio. Please note the studio is on the third floor, with stair access only. This workshop is not suitable for young children, but it is suitable for children over 8 years old with an accompanying adult.
