Embroidery Workshop, FREE!

Service Description

This is a completely free workshop and includes a free mini kit to either get you started with embroidery, or to improve and enhance your existing skills. This is part of the Open Studio Weekend event where many of the studio holders will be throwing open their doors to welcome you to our arty community! Learn how to do versatile and very useful embroidery stitches. The stitches will be demonstrated, and you will use the materials provided to create an embroidery. It is also fine to bring your own project, and your own threads and materials, although this is not necessary. I will be on hand to demonstrate the stitches, and to point you in the right direction for improvement. This is a free event, but booking is essential to reserve your place. If you no longer require a place, please let me know so that it can be reallocated. Please note that the studio is on the third floor of Woodend Mill One, and there is no lift.
