Service Description

Sunday 5th November, 10.00 a.m. to 1.00 p.m. at the lovely venue of Eden Tearoom & Galleries, Course Lane, Newburgh, Wigan WN8 7UB. This is a very simple and therapeutic craft. We will be using wool roving tufts to form felted artwork and useful objects with a wet felting process. Felt Making is the oldest craft and it can be used to make many beautiful and useful objects. Would you like to learn new skills and make something beautiful and useful? Join me for a fun morning of wet felt making. In this course you will make your own abstract wet felted panel, as well as working with felt panels that I have already made which will show you how to fashion your felted into a useful object, or how to display your felting as an artwork. There will be an opportunity to apply simple hand embroidery to the object, or to fix it together. This is achievable for complete beginners, and all materials are included. You will be able to take some of the materials including your artwork home with you to display and admire. I am a qualified teacher in Art & Creative Practice, and I have demonstrated on many shows at the craft TV channel 'Create and Craft' with my branded embroidery kits from 'Little House of Victoria', For further details, please email me at hello@littlehouseofvictoria.com
